Back on Track Indiana is nearing Stage 4, which is set to begin Friday, June 12. With that comes an update to many of the guidelines and restrictions associated with Gov. Eric Holcomb's phased approach to reopening the state after coronavirus-related shutdowns. Here are some notes on Stage 4 as it relates to the tourism industry.
- Face coverings: Recommended
- Travel restrictions: None
- Social gatherings: Up to 250 people
Retail stores and malls can return to full capacity in Stage 4 with social distancing measures in place. Restaurants can move to 75 percent capacity and open bar seating at 50 percent. Bars and night clubs can open at 50 percent capacity while cultural, entertainment and tourism sites can reopen.
With that in mind, we're excited to soon welcome back some of our attractions. The History Museum and Studebaker National Museum will reopen June 14. Potawatomi Zoo plans to reopen to the public June 19. Four Winds Casino South Bend is reopening June 15. |
