Although reopening comes with uncertainty, the future is beginning to take shape. Notably, colleges and universities in The Bend have announced plans to safely bring students back to campus in the fall. Notre Dame begins classes Aug. 10 with no fall break. Same for Saint Mary's College and Holy Cross College. Bethel University also plans to resume in-person classes in August. IU South Bend will begin its fall semester Aug. 24, also with no fall break.
